Meet the Officiants

Founded in 2014 by Rev. Kevin Holland, Personal Weddings of North Carolina has now expanded to a full team of officiants in order to better serve engaged couples throughout the state of North Carolina and beyond. All of our officiants are fully ordained and trained to provide the same high quality, personalized ceremonies for which PWNC has become known for. Additionally, all of our officiants are proud allies of the LGBTQ+ community and are proud to celebrate all forms of love.

Dr. Doug Hammack

Dr. Doug Hammack

Dr Hammack is fully ordained and licensed to perform weddings throughout the United States. He has led Common Thread, a spiritual community in Raleigh for 30 years, through a process of fundamentally rethinking what it means to be religious, what it means to be spiritual. Because the community has been integrating universal truths into their practice together, he has led hundreds of weddings for people across the whole spectrum of spiritual traditions. He’s led simple non-religious weddings, non-denominational and traditional-religion ceremonies (and a whole spectrum in between). Doug is well-versed in all major world religions and always works closely with couples to make sure the ceremony is theirs and that it represents them well.

Based in Raleigh, Doug  is available throughout the Triangle area of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding communities.
